June 11 State Primary Ballot Access

Effective January 1, 2024 the State of Maine transitioned from closed primary system to a semi-open primary. This means that if you are unenrolled in a party, you may choose to vote a Democratic or Republican ballot. If you are enrolled in the Green Independent, Libertarian, or No Labels party you are not eligible to vote in the upcoming primary.

Please note that the deadline to change your party enrollment for the June 11 Primary is May 24. Once you enroll in a party you must stay in the party for a period of 3 months before withdrawing or changing enrollment.

To request an absentee ballot for the June 11 Primary, you may place the request at the Town Office, call the Town Office, or request a ballot online.
